Today I spent half an hour sitting on the exit ramp to my workplace. So did everyone else, so I was not noticeably late for work. Not sure what it was, but its a toss-up between the construction near the highway or the fact that most entrances to the nearby NIH main campus are closed, and cars are being checked very carefully.

I am not sick, but I am feeling very run down. It took me about 3 hours to lay out and cut the futon coat pattern yesterday, and another 2 to mark it. Sounds physically easy but it involved a lot of standing up and leaning over the table for cutting, which put my back and legs in pain for most of yesterday. Miss Spice made it a little more fun by "helping" hold down the pattern - it seems she just knows how I hate the cutting out process and so she tries to entertain me.

So here I sit working on a nice cup of Swiss Chocolate Almond coffee in defiance of my attempt to cut back on the caffiene - woke up late and didn't have time to sit in front of my sun lamp before work. I really overdid it yesterday. I have got to learn to moderate or by Friday I WILL be sick.

Second Anthrax Case Detected in Florida

FBI Investigates Second Anthrax Case

Anthrax Alarm

A lot of fuss but where is the proof that these cases might be some form of bioterrorism?

It seems to me that these stories are being reported before they actually know anything substantial.

I think its totally possible but I still think that people are shooting their mouths off without getting concrete info.
