Either the time change or the events of the past week are getting to me. I get so tired towards the end of the day that I'm practically falling asleep at my screen. Part of it is the change in time - I've been waking up before my alarm for a few weeks now, but I also think my mind has been doing overtime. I am steadily becoming re-acquainted with the joys of caffinated coffee.

I'm going to try and have an early night tonight - I always say that, but it never actually happens; I always find something that has to be done before I can allow myself to rest.

I think I'd much rather be sewing right now, and it bugs me that by the time I get home and am actually able to sew I'lll be too tired to do so.

Geekchick has kindly offered me server space to post photos of my middle class Tudor dress.

They are posted at http://www.geekchick.org/athurman/.

To get some idea what I was working from, take a look at this Holbein painting of Jane Seymour and the women in Thomas More and his Family.

Falwell Apologizes for Remarks

Falwell/Robertson ALWAYS pull this when talking to mainstream media - I've seen Falwell in particular on "Politically Incorrect" and other talk shows and he always tones down his rhetoric on any show other than his own "700 Club".

I maintain that Falwell's real sentiments come out on his own show. And even if he was speaking off the cuff when he made his horrible, bigoted statements, what he said is very revealing of his true motives and beliefs.

And while he is entitled to his opinion, I think it went far and beyond irresponsibility for him to say it on his national TV pulpit. There are people who actually take what he says seriously, and it may well have incited them to act against American Muslims.
