Oct. 29th, 2001 02:59 pmJust as a side note, I'm not unaware of the passing of the anti-terrorism bill last week. I've just been sticking my head in the sand over it, because I suspect that increased surveillance will violate civil liberties far more efficiently than it will prevent future terrorism. I feel guilty that I didn't write my senators about it, though I doubt it would have made much difference.
Now Shrub is reluctant to pass a bill that might actually improve airport security. doG forbid airport security be efficient and well trained.
*Sigh* back to my usual drivel about sewing, cats, and the time change, because current events are just too repellent to dwell on.
