anotheranonDisclaimer: I HATE spiders with an undying passion. Attempts at desensitization by looking at photos of them has only made me uncomfortable even looking at PICTURES of the creepy bastards.
But...
You know how sometimes you just can't NOT look at a car wreck?
For your arachnophobic rubbernecking pleasure:
Most of the stories about camel spiders are urban legends, but the nasties you hear about brown recluses and hobo spiders are ABSOLUTELY TRUE.
I'm deliberately leaving off the link that shows pictures of a recluse bite - it is repellent.
I'm going to go have nightmares now.
