Latest notes re: duster

anotheranonCut and assembled the muslin - astoundingly a size 12 fits and I'm ready to make the required sectioning to turn this from a flared dress into a flared, embellished coat.
Despite the vinyl samples (review), I'm not sure which 2 to pick for this - I like the natural-leather look of the Pleather but I want to do black and olive and the pleather doesn't come in olive. Maybe a textural contrast - matte black Pleather details on shiny black vinyl?
Also not sure where I'm going to find multiple yards of PVC piping for this - will be hitting G Street this weekend to see what they've got (weather permitting).
