Nov. 19th, 2002 10:25 pmI did well today, but I am finally starting to droop. The bed is looking REALLY good tonight.
I did 50 crunches this evening. Tomorrow morning I know I will feel like I've been eviscerated, but I'll just have to remember that the pain means that I've actually pushed myself and that it will hurt less next time.
Listening to the "Children of Dune" audio-book.
I enjoy the fact that the Preacher character is (most likely - I'm not finished yet) Paul, and he is ranting about his own deification. I don't know whether it was Herbert's intent, but it makes me think about what Jesus, Mohammed, Confucius etc. would think of the religions they inspired had they survived to see them established.
Helping moderate an email list that has been slow in recent weeks but that has picked up - due to trolls :/ I am finding my inner Borg in the attempt not to blow up at these silly people. It stuns me that there are people out there who do not have anything better to do that aggravate and start fights. Waste of pixels.
D. advises me I am excessively polishing my halo by doing everything around the house. I am beginning to see it more as sanding my cross, i.e. I really should just stop punishing myself and ask him to do more. He always does what I ask, he just doesn't always notice on his own that something needs to be done. (And yes.. I know there is a better phrase than "cross sanding" to express what I mean, but I am too tired to think of it).
