Oct. 29th, 2002 10:43 pmWent to my next to last (!) drawing class tonight, where we learned how to work with mid/half tones. This consists of working up a big "smudge" on the paper and drawing/shading/erasing as needed. Interesting but messy.
Much as I've enjoyed the class, I know that I have a tendency to slow down during the winter, so I don't think I'm going to sign up for another next semester. I'm toying with the figure drawing class available here as I would be able to work from live models, but it is awfully pricey. <scarlett>I'll think about that tomorrow (or spring!)</scarlett>.
As it is, I'll probably look at the G Street catalog to see if there are any weekend sewing seminars of interest. I am really liking this Regency wardrobe pattern, but I am emphatically in no rush. And, doG help me, I'm still wanting a stillsuit. All this and I haven't even ironed the fabric for my next project. My eyes are bigger than my sewing machine :/
