Exactly why I choose to use a pseudonym on most social media. I have FB, Twitter, and G+ accounts using my real name but that's only to converse with acquaintances/family and post non-offensive stuff that won't haunt me later.
So far G+ hasn't bugged me about using dustdaughter instead of a 'real name'. *knocks on wood* Guess they're only going after big fish.
