sewing crankiness

anotheranonStill slowly creeping along with my hand sewing. Viewing a similar costume made by someone else (link not included so I won't have to click it and depress myself) is disheartening, especially as the fusible adhesive did not fuse adequately and I'm going to have to go back and re-iron everything once it's sewn on.
It's discouraging. When I get this frustrated with a project I usually quit, but am determined not to do so this time.
Today was a quiet day but I am still irritable - even watching multiple "Red Dwarf"s while sewing didn't cheer me much.
In good news, I am not sick - the dull aches last night did not turn into sharp aches like I'd run a marathon and been beaten up at the finish line, so I think it's safe to say I don't have the flu.
I could probably stand some sleep.
