I've been looking over video from last week's lesson. Here's a still:

Pros: I can tell from the outside whether I'm in "the zone" or overthinking - my movements in the former are much smoother. My footwork is tighter and smaller, and my parries are quick and sudden.
Cons: I am still stiff, slow, and large. Seriously, I never realized before how top heavy I am - I look like a beer can on legs! I am predictable and I can see my tells, which means presumably so can my opponents.
I keep telling myself: incremental improvements are good, but the harsh light of reality is hard to take sometimes.
