anotheranonWorked hard today. Came home and made tuna fish salad and hemmed D.'s pants - they look "just so," retaining the unusual hem treatments, so I'm very pleased.
We watched a strange little movie tonight called "Shooting Fish", about con artists who get caught up doing some good for a change. D. drooled over Kate Beckinsale with short hair, I just laughed and tried to avoid hurting.
My back hurts like hell. I feel like there is a knife twisting in the base of my spine. I know what did it - carrying home 30 lbs of Egyptian art books from the Smithsonian on Sunday. No wonder I was in constant pain in college, it was all the damn books.
I stretched out and this helped some - I heard terrible cracking noises in my back so I'm going to hide behind the hope that that means I did something right. I took a painkiller and am waiting for it to take effect.
Had revelation re: gauntlets for current costuming project, just no time to work on them. Hopefully tomorrow.
