  • 10:46 Didn't realize daylight saving takes effect today. Frack :/
  • 10:51 And oh yeah, #watchmen - I enjoyed. Not as densely packed as the book, but I wasn't expecting it to be.
  • 10:52 Rorshach was easily the best character. And I will never see "Daddy Winchester" from Supernatural the same way #watchmen
  • 10:54 Costume content: want to make Silhouette and Silk Spectre I costumes. When I might have time is a total mystery #watchmen
  • 10:54 'nuff nerding. Warming up now.

Re: watchmen - They took out the whole Tales of the Black Freighter story. That saved it from being too dense. The movie seemed more violent than the book - at least to me. That's saying something as the book is pretty damn violent. Also, what is UP with all the slo-mo?

I'm currently re-reading the book before I post my review. So far, it seems like the movie certainly didn't flinch WRT the sex and violence. I am a little disappointed that they took out the Black Freighter and all the other "people on the street" stuff. I get where that could have stretched the film to 5 hours but even so....

I think the slo-mo is an artifact of the movie being made after The Matrix came out :P
