That Tim Wise piece is really worth reading. Sadly he had to write another piece, explaining even further to those white dumbasses who commented on his first piece with: "Dude, I'm white, but I'm not rich and I'm NOT privileged, I ought to know if I'm privileged or not".

Instead of just writing them the answer such stupidity deserves, which would be: "No, you don't actually know if you're privileged or not", he wrote another, very nicely explanatory piece, for the lesser intelligent to grasp.

He's a far nicer person than I would have been.
