long and spread out

It's one of my off nights and I decided to do some footwork, aiming for the tiny, immaculate steps as seen on the Olympics (yeah, I know - aiming high :P But anyway)...

This seems to work most successfully for tiny, compact people with average length, buff legs. I tend to feel (and, I suspect, look) rather like this:

Not that my legs aren't getting buffer by the week, but when it's all spread out it's hard to control.

At least my lunge is improving, and that's one place where long legs are an advantage. In time I hope to be as swift as this trapdoor spider:



What's the reverse of anthropomorphization?
