It's snowing buckets out here. The good, wet kind too that's perfect for snowball fights. Too bad that here == the office. :-P

It is supposed to get nasty and icy later this afternoon, so maybe we'll all get to bail early.

Goddard went to "code blue" at 1:00. I'm still here because I have a teleconference, but a lot of people have taken off.

Yep - they sent us home at 2. It was sleeting during the drive, but not sticking (yet?)

I left Goddard at 3:30 and got home at 5:00. That's about three times as long as it takes on a clear weekend day, and about twice what it takes most afternoons. Just a few slippery spots on 198, but everybody was creeping along very slowly.

I'm the newest employee, so I'm stuck covering the phones while everyone else leaves early. It's okay though, I'm only 10-15 minutes away from home.

P.S. What does smeg mean?

P.S. What does smeg mean?

It's a all purpose swear word (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smeg_%28vulgarism%29) from the late, great British sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Dwarf).

Well, we have seven inches here so far with another projected 8-12 by tomorrow, and possibly a total of 22 inches by noon tomorrow. I'm sure you'll get some of it sooner or later!!!
