For those of you bewildered by some of my historic fencing posts, Higgins Armory Sword Guild has several step-by-step fight demos with accompanying slow-motion video for 17th century rapier and 18th century smallsword, among others.

These illustrate what goes on FAR better than I can describe it! Of course, I fence with blunt weapons and a mask because I like my eyes, thanks :P

Those were very interesting. I would love to see real-time (not slo-mo) work sometime, I'm sure it's really exciting to see!
