meet my new time suck

Browse my virtual shelves. Far, far, far from complete. I seem to be heavily weighted towards non fiction (no great shock there).

Such a warm and fuzzy feeling to see the personal-collection-cataloguing bug spreading ... :-)

Well, I love looking through other people's bookshelves 'cos what people read tells so much about a person, so I thought I'd give everyone the opportunity to look at mine...

Same here ... other people's bookshelves are fascinating.

And now you've got me contemplating ... I don't want to give up my BookCAT software for home use 'cause it's so durned slick, but, since the fancy, +images html version of it is so massively space-consuming, mebbe I'll copy my data over into LibrarySpace for prettier sharing than that table format currently on my webpage ... hmmmmm ...

LibraryThing is a huge time sink, although once you get everything entered it's a lot more manageable. =) For more fun, check out the Unsuggester, which gives you a list of books least likely to share a library with the title you suggest.

Damn you!!!!! I have been madly cataloging my books and have now bought a lifetime membership ($25 so it's not ruinous). I've only just about gotten thru the main costume library!!!! Auuuggghhhhhhhhh!
