Just rewatching the series - it really does age well.

I took the quiz too but I'm not even gonna tell you who I came up as. ;)

Whatever else you want to say about it, Coupling is an awesome show. I know a very few people who don't like it and I respect that, but in most people I know it spreads like a virus. :)

I can't take the quiz at the moment, but I absolutely loved this show. It's a shame the American port was such complete crap, it might have taken off if they'd done a better job of it.

Frankly, I'm not sure there was a need to remake it, outside of money to be made because BBC America had rights to the British version. I never saw the American edition but I was told that it wasn't all that good - took the UK scripts and translated all the slang into American, or some such.

I think the idea behind making an American-ized version was so that people would actually be able to watch it on regular tv, whereas for most people to get BBC: America you pay extra on your cable. Plus, a lot of what they discussed on the British version would never make it past the censors here and so you lose out on the half of what made the show so great.
