Miss Spice had another "accident", so this morning we took her to her new vet.

It turns out that she does have a UTI, and ear infection as well - she behaved beautifully though, and the vet thinks we caught this early and that's why she doesn't seem (too) worse for wear. We were sent home with ear drops and oral antibiotics (which she gets to take in stinky canned catfood, so Spice is ALL for that).

Otherwise, very good day, and I think I might be able to squeeze my lemon of a paper into something completely unlike yet resembling lemonade.

But now, I think I'll sleep.

Oh, glad she's okay! I got back from vacation and read the posts and the first thing I thought was UTI. Kitties do not soil things unexpectedly unless there is something major going on, either psychologically or physically. Been there, done that, with our multiple felines over the years.

She's also got an ear infection - the antibiotics for ears and UTI are different medications.
