Theater of Wrong

When he showed it to me, I told D., "You know I have to share this, right?":

[livejournal.com profile] verywrongslash. Jesus/Cardinal Ratzinger, Poirot/Wooster, and Neville Longbottom/Darth Vader. And that's just on the front page(!)

Also on VWS's front page The Brain Hurting Fanfic Pairer. Fran (Black Books)/Pervinca Took (Lord of the Rings), baybee! Hit it again and again and watch your brain explode :P

Or if you want to break your brain the old fashioned way, may I recommend a movie? Showtime's "Reefer Madness: The Musical. Alan Cumming has now replaced Crispin Glover in my mental showcase of Very Twisted Actors - he's just so earnest in his main role and so bizarre in the other (and you'll know it when you see it). And if you're a "Veronica Mars" fan you get to see her character go from squeaky-cheesy clean Shirley Temple curls to scarily, hilariously over the top BAAAAAAAD - all the actors are incredible and I suspect they all had a fun time making the movie.

Ok, back to homework (over half done!) Or bed...

I really liked Reefer Madness. I found myself crushing on Alan Cumming and Kristen Bell (especially when she sang) simultaneously. And then I felt kind of wrong myself, since Bell is five years younger than me. :0

I don't really crush on either, but I think they're both wonderfully talented actors. I'm even giving "Deadwood" another go because Kristen Bell has some guest/repeating role on it.

Having said this, were I a teenage girl I think I'd have a terrific crush on Bell - she plays a teenager in her most prominent role, and "young" doesn't really float my boat.
