Just what is Adult Swim? I checked it's site and I think it's a cartoon, what the hell is it about?

Adult Swim is a block of cartoons on Cartoon Network. Sunday nights they show a group of shows like Space Ghost, The Brak Show (when we're lucky), Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Sealab 2021 and Home Movies. I haven't gotten a chance to see it yet but they also have a Saturday night block with things like Tenchi Muyo and Cowboy Bebop. I suspect the lineups are on the web site.

Hmm... certainly sounds more interesting than what passes for the X-Files on Sunday nights. I might try and check it out!

Thanks for clearing up my confusion - I've been seeing references to it in multiple LJs and elsewhere, and felt totally out of the pop culture loop...
