Have also been following the FMA "debate" (I cannot believe that this is even a debate in 2006 in an allegedly modern country); the vote is today I believe. Possible incoming "preaching to the choir" type rant if it passes :(

And I can't believe that some of the supporters for FMA are likening it to the civil rights amendment... how can constitutionally supported discrimination be *like* the civil rights amendment? Kind of the opposite, I would say.

The Amendment got voted down thankfully. Stupid f*ckers, I love how they think its ok to discriminate and try to make us second class citizens. Grrr!!!
