I find true crime fascinating but find it much easier to read about historical cases than current ones - somehow it's reassuring to know that Jack the Ripper is dead :P However, this one has linkage to other crime blogs as well if you're looking for something more current.

Historical crimes ARE fascinating ... the differences in and evolution of procedures, the motivations, the investigations. I get my weekly mini-fix with the Sunday reprints of Max Haines' Crime Flashback columns, many of which have sent me off to the library for research and books. :-)
