I filed my taxes, and all I got was this lousy...

$12.

Or, -$23 if you count the e-filing fee.

Not as good as I hoped, but the IRS isn't cleaning me out, so I can't complain too much. One less un-fun thing on my to-do list.

Also completed homework, and will post my questions tonight. No calculator yet, as the campus math center is in the process of moving.

Weather is about to go pear-shaped - 60s Thursday plummeting down to teens (!) tonight. All temperatures Farenheit, of course :P

See, I consider that an ideal year, tax-wise.

It means I have the use of my money, and that the government hasn't been holding on to it and not even paying me interest. So many people view their "tax refund" as a sort of forced savings plan, and it's not a very good one.

Taxes suck... in the bad way.

You should've at least gotten a tax break for being a student. I was hoping to be able to deduct some of my commuting costs (I live in VA and work in MD) but no such luck.

This was after the education break. I'm not a full time student, so it wasn't much.
