Re: mummification: yes, I do that, for biohazard/curious pets reasons.

I second the "The Story of V" recommendation ... that book is a treasure, both as an information source and as entertainment. Here's hoping that Dr. Blackledge has more books planned. :-)

i do the mummification thang too...mostly because i just don't want to look at it after its all said and done. natural or not, the site of blood sittin in my trash can is not something i want to see upon waking at 430am!
