Attention nminusone: Susie Bright's writeup of the Sacred Elixirs entheogen conference (even if you're straightedge, the history sounds fascinating).

For all the seamstresses and other fabric fans: Hot Patterns Store. I've not tried them but some H-costumers are enthusing over them, especially the sizing scheme that includes sizes 6-26 and acknowledges that not ALL women are a a B cup!

And doG knows that we could all use some shiny things to look at - weather.com shows a swath of green from the midwest to the east coast, with rain for the next 2 days at least :( Note to self: excavate the coffee table. At this point the clutter is probably concealing a lost gospel or two. Do this even if the greater temptation is to veg out on the sofa.
