Nicked from [livejournal.com profile] vree:

Leave one memory of you and me together. It doesn't matter if I know you a
little or a lot, anything you remember! Next, post this in your blog and see how
many people leave a memory about you.

Only one? Standouts are appreciating your wit in Lexxy chatrooms pre-meeting-in-person, your cat-programming-Unix routine in Toronto; the look on your face when I answered Mike & Lisa's door last fall; watching "Tipping the Velvet" together; and all-round general sewing geeking. :-)

Wish I could have been there to see her face!!!!!!!! :-)))

You got to see her face when Tommen arrived this year ... pretty much the same expression ***grin***

ROFL!!!! True...

Allison, with several shots of whisky in her system, in a bed-n-breakfast in Toronto, 11:00 pm-ish, May 2, 2003: I have this permanently etched mental snapshot of her scrinching her eyes inscrutably catlike, tucking her arms in together, and imitating a cat crunching Unix.

And I'm laughing so hard my stomach and mouth hurts!

:D I am never going to live down the "Unix cat" thing, am I? :P

Just don't let on about the whiskey, eh? Don't want people getting the idea that I'm not a Mad Old Cat Lady when I'm stark raving sober!

[identity profile] hadesgirl.livejournal.com 2005-10-19 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
I would give almost anything to have a video of your "Unix" performance. That was absolutely priceless!!!!!!! No, you will NEVER live it down.

I'll sneak over with my old whisky bottles ('cause I'll be the Mad Old Professor and Writer, and we all know those types drink like fish) and put them outside your garbage cans. That way no one will know you're not starkers!

Semmie, sipping tea and soymilk

I agree - the bed and breakfast moment will NEVER be forgotten. But I'll choose the "Tipping the Velvet" visit. The conversation and company was wonderful. And that was also the rather auspicious birth of the
"BiscuitMistress" as I recall... :-)))

[identity profile] anotheranon.livejournal.com 2005-10-19 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
Yes indeed! Somehow I've managed to make the best biscuits at your house....

I must be your ever-faithful sidekick, HostessGirl, then, eh?

LEXX KEB chat, most definitly, and participating with you in writing the KEB dungeon Kai/Prince stories. That was great fun.

And of course meeting you IRL at [livejournal.com profile] hadesgirl's, that was great fun x 2, and your "Phantom of the opera remarks: "Yeah, I usually go to the grave yard dressed in my black little teddy...", yeah, that was fun too :)

We hate to copy everyone else, but the Cat crunching Unix certainly springs to mind. :)

But of course, what we always think of is walking down the street after helping Gigi drop her car at the garage in Toronta, and finding some goth girl following us down the sidewalk and all the way to the bed and breakfast; until you walked in the door, it never occured to any of us that you might not be from around there, either! :p
