"National Sanctity of Human Life Day"

Unnngh!

And I wonder if its just a coincidence that this pro-life slanted day was planned 2 days before the anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

Sanctity of human life is a beautiful thing, but do we really need a day for it? I'm currently reading a book called "A World Lit Only By Fire" about the medieval mind and outlook and it is CERTAIN that human life is valued a hell of a lot more now than it was in our romanticized past.

And knock of the "year of our Lord" thing already! Gaggh!

Don't forget the wonderful irony of the man who is so obviously pro-death penalty putting out any sort of comment on "the sanctity of human life". Kind of like the "War on Some Drugs", it's the "Sanctity of Some Life", I suppose.

Indeed. Also remember that "pro-life" is more concerned with the sanctity of "fetal life" than life after. Once born the fetus is on it's own.
