other triumphs of completion

I decided to take an evening off from studying, and so:

• Finished the corset - oh yes, the green and black PVC that I've been working on since.. winter, probably? I never did find the beads I was looking for, so I wrapped green wire around the ends of the laces to serve as aglets. Not perfect, but functional and good until something better comes along. No photos forthcoming, but
  
• Finally got together a page of armor/sword pix from the Philadelphia Museum of Art. I'll post a link when it's up - the page may be complete but the photos are large enough that they're taking awhile to load to my site.

I'm sure I finished something else as well, but between wrapping wire and sitting at my computer I'm tired and sore and can't remember.

Still, this is the first evening in awhile in which I haven't done even a small amount of studying, so it feels curiously like Friday night. Pity I actually have to go into the office tomorrow and blow that fantasy....

I think I should probably get in bed!

Congratulations on your accomplishments (and looking very forward to seeing the piccies).

It's Canada Day tomorrow, so tomorrow IS a holiday somewhere. I promise dedicate part of my lazy morning to morrow to you, if you do the same for me on Monday. ;-)
