there, that fixed it (?)

Resolved some of yesterday evening's "feeling off" problems: a searing decaffinated headache snuck up on me by bedtime and did not respond to painkillers. As I didn't need to be drinking coffee at midnight, I took enough chocolate (it's medicinal! :P) to keep my brains from leaking out of my eye sockets and got some sleep, followed by a cup promptly this morning.... ahh... I am so sad :/

Still grouchy about some things I could have done differently this weekend, but that's another post. I have a busy day ahead full of dentist appointments and other assorted meetings. Welcome to the surrogate Monday :P

I second [livejournal.com profile] tommdroid's point, adding that chocolate and coffee are also a helluva lot CHEAPER than crack and heroin! ;-)

I found that Tylenol tension-headache pills kick much ass when it comes to caffeine headaches. There's just enough caffeine to make your brain decide not to secede but not enough to keep you awake, plus painkillers to ease you down the path to recaffeination.

Ooohoo? I've never used the tension-headache variety - I may well have to check them out, thanks!
