Well, not quite. More like something vintage-y, something futuristic, these are my Shiny Links of the Day:

I'd love to be able to make one of these, but would be terrified to carry it anywhere - I would certainly sit on it, or lose it, or my lipstick would break open all over the inside, guaranteed!

Crosses + Petticoats, finally clarifying once and for all the differences between Lolita, Gothic Lolita, and Elegant Gothic Aristocrat in the world of Japanese subcultural fashion. hadesgirl, if you've ever wondered what a "perky goth" would look like, this would most likely be it! I couldn't wear a one of the little dresses (the specter of John Cleese as Red Riding Hood rears its terrifying head again!), but I do like the retro-Victorian men's tailored jackets - but then, I'm a sucker for a tailored jacket :P

Gloves! Now that WOULD be something brave for me to try! I'll have to slip into the Bay's accessories department and find out what size I am (the standard hand measurement won't work, 'cause my profession has built up major muscles in my fingers). Thank you!!!!! :-)))))))
