it's May so of course I'm looking at wool
Not seriously, just pricing it out for the jacket at G Street. My main outing today was coffee with K., one of my fellow fencers. We've both been running around like chickens with our heads cut off, so this was the first time we'd had a chance to hang out. Much good discussion :)
Self-refurbishment: I now have Fishbowl blue-green (let's face it - over bleached-to-yellow, it's more on the green side) hair, and even had time to do home manicure/pedicure! Maybe I'll have time to actually paint my toenails this week, as it's getting to be barefoot weather!
The microwave died, so D. and I ventured into Target and picked out a new one - reviews said Sharp good, Emerson bad (the one that died was an Emerson, natch) so we have a nice clean new Sharp sitting in the kitchen.
Other than that, did the requisite eat/sleep/play/make some things mine, like you do :P
Links from all around: A Way to Women's Wellness Art Bras, which will be part of a calendar and a traveling exhibit. It's not landing anywhere near me, but if it did, I'd be there - I like the peacock blue and green one (goes with my hair ;) ).
Something I CAN hit if I schedule myself: The Trevelyon Miscellany of 1608 at the Folger. Not sure what a "miscellany" is, but this would be a good way to find out :)
A fun community for your perusal:
askthekinksters. Ask anything - you WILL get an answer. Probably not safe for work, but then you shouldn't be wasting time at your desk, you naughty people ;)
And of course, a quiz:
BILL! (Snake Charmer)

You're Bill! I love you! Anyways, you're skilled in the art of manipulation. You're very strong, talented, powerful, and witty. You don't seem to have any real sense of morality, and you only let your kindness show around a select handful of people (mostly Kiddo and B.B). You do have some regret for the horrible things you've done, but won't let it interefere with your life. You respect your opponents, and you generally believe in fair game.

Kill Bill: Which Deadly Viper Assassin Are You? (Vol. II spoilers... results with pics)

Well, you've just put my standard bitching about bra manufacturers putting stupid box, pearls (and brooches in one case) on the fronts of bras in order to ruin their "don't show" design. Love 'em!!!!!! Especially the flame one (EEEK!!! Does this mean I"m finally being contaminated by this city's hockey fever????)
