uuhhh-?

Its amazing what you can find via scholarly costuming book websites.

I don't want to read it, but this fanzine premise cracks me up:

This wonderful zine offers a variety of encounters from spontaneous combustion to 'something' in an Illinois lake, from mysterious, gruesome murders in a small Virginia town, to an up-close and personal run-in with a genuine Chupacabra. Agents Mulder and Scully also come up against the Immortal issue when they meet one Mr. Duncan Macleod, and have a close encounter of the hilarious kind with an alien toaster aboard the Red Dwarf. Sometimes poignant, often hilarious, this anthology zine is sure to be a welcome addition to any bookshelf!

You must watch Invader Zim. One of the main characters is a budding paranormal investigator (the "Career Day" episode is particularly hysterical, where he gets paired up for the day with a "respected paranormal investigator") and is the only one who notices that Zim happens to be a little green alien. His sister gets him out of her hair with things like "Hey Dib, I think I just saw a, um, chupacabra or something run into that parking garage".

That does sound right up my alley :) That, and I'd have even more tv trivia to add to my amazing arsenal!
