Matrix coat patterns

Look kids: Trinity and Neo (or is that Morpheus?)

And no, [livejournal.com profile] geekchick, I've not forgotten about the $0.99 sale. Guess where I'll be tomorrow.... ;)

I saw pictures of those in one of the catalogs recently and drooled quite thoroughly over the second one. =)

at times even I can consider the general thought of taking up an interest in clothes...

The in-store sale flyer I just looked at says Simplicity and McCall's are $1.60 this week, which still is pretty darn good. And they've got Vogue patterns on sale for $3.60; can't remember the last time I saw a Vogue sale there. Time to stock up, just in case. ;)

See my most recent post ;) The salespeople denied the $1.60 for Simplicity today (???), but I'll get them next week :)

Thank you, Allison. Have just added the Simplicity site to my favourites ... will save me fighting for a pattern book at the fabric store. :)

Whoo hoo! If your Matrix jackets turn out as well as the Farscape one, I'll be drooling forever. That Farscape jacket fit me pretty well, you know... and it would look smashing since I've dropped another 16 pounds since then. It was just a tiny bit snug across the back/shoulder area but should be perfect now. You WERE the one who wanted to "goth" me in Toronto, after all. That trip to Northbound leather started it all. I almost fell over when I saw those floor-length leather coats. I should have bought one - and ESPECIALLY that black leather bustier with the red-leather piping. OOOOoh. That leather was sooooo soft and ... uh... oh. Hrmmm. Excuse me. Sorry -was having a moment there.

What better way than to outfit Gigi in post-apocalyptic Matrix clothes? Oooooh, makes me shiver. Makes me feel all...oooh, dangerous or something, LOL! Hmmm.... you want to come here and stay at my house for your costume seminar next year, right? Maybe a trade is in order, muwhahahahahahaaaaaa!!!!

Gigi (clapping her hands in perky-goth glee)

Like I've said - I don't make to order! Especially as doing it long distance and getting a nice product would be near impossible!

Having said this, I'm slinking out this week to pick up a the jacket patterns (JoAnn's staff were MISTAKEN - the Simplicity's ARE on sale [grr!]). If there's more than one, I'll be happy to pick it up for you and send it on so you can look for a tailor there!

As for "gothing" - I can style long distance! Go forth and get black jeans and t-shirt - these are basics every Goth(TM) must have!!

A-gothing we will go

Uh.... does a black thong count? Sorry, it's not leather, it's cotton. But it IS black.

Hey - I'm good! And it only took me twice to figure out that they are worn on the INSIDE!!! Am I sharp or what?????
