Better than the first, I think - more of an Indiana Jones-type storyline than straight video-game spectacle (no cheesy stone statues coming to life). Red Dwarf dept: Chris Barrie is again Lara Croft's butler, meeting her on the top of a submarine in full uniform with a towel draped across his arm, which is just, somehow, very Rimmeresque in his slavish attention to protocol! And did I mention that the movie features a fabulous leather riding coat (cannot find a decent online photo)?

Salon may be right - Angelina Jolie is the best James Bond since Sean Connery (certainly the hottest since Sean!), but I'm thinking she'd be even better in the new Indiana Jones - make her Harrison Ford's daughter, or niece, second cousin twice removed, or something, but he's getting a bit long in the tooth to do the role again!

Rimmer is Lara's Butler!?! I never realized this until you mentioned it, but now I'll never look at him the same way again.

Ditto the riding coat. That saddle scene was one of the best in the movie.

Personally, my dream flick involves an action-adventure starring Angelina & Halle Berry as uber spy chicks...can't wait till it comes out...

Yep, that's Rimsy! Hope he doesn't end up typcasting himself as "Stuffy English guy"!

Re: action film with Angelina Jolie and Halle Berry - you know, that COULD work! They've both done action films before so they're familiar with stunt work. Both are award winning actresses so we could expect (stagger) good performances! You may be on to something here!
