back in the saddle

Kisia is doing very well - amazingly well, considering the staples in her stomach! She's already doing cat grooming contortions again and is finally eating!

I finally got my butt in gear and drafted the pattern for the first partlet and even cut out the pieces - go me! I hope to work on it this weekend, but I'm also getting my hair cut and planning on steaming the basement carpet, so we shall see. I really need to be more disciplined about my weekend activities; it's just so easy to lay around on the sofa and read.

Must get to bed sooner rather than later...

I'm glad to hear Kisia is doing well; Semmie was keeping me posted on that and I know that illness in any loved one, whether hairless ape or fuzzy quadruped, is stressful. Give her a tickle behind the ears from me.

And, hey, laying around on the sofa and reading is productive ... that's brain aerobics!!! At least that's MY excuse and I'm sticking to it :)

Re: Kisia - I've never understood the "It's JUST an animal" philosophy, if only because my pets DO give something back other than just looking good - they help me relax, and keep me sane. Tiny furry jesters! So I do get worried when things aren't going well.

Thank you for your kind wishes :)
