you call this midsummer?

Lovely long daylight, if I could just see it - no heavy rains, but it was cloudy all day, and cool, only getting to around 70F (only 70F? In DC in June??)

Got my copy of "Order of the Phoenix" at about 1 pm and have been reading ever since (taking time to grocery shop/do chores around the house, of course). Rowling's already thrown a few curveballs, which I won't discuss until I'm sure everyone who reads my journal has finished the book too ;)

Off to bed, hopefully to read half the night!

I think I'm the only person on the planet who hasn't read any, yes ANY Harry Potter books. I own 'em, but I'm so busy writing my own fiction that I don't have time to read other's books. I suppose I should, though....

I didn't have time either - my sister (an HP nut!) ended up copying her books on CD for me, so I listened to it. I'm sure you can check the CD versions out of your local library, or find them online somewhere..

Don't own em, haven't read em, haven't seen the movie. I guess I should though, what with their wild popularity and all...
