80's back in style
I knew the '80s were coming back in style but I have to admit I was surprised by these.
Given the coverage they seem to have recieved in different fashion mags/sites, retro-band t-shirts seem to be a very trendy thing. I do wonder whether half the folks buying these ever listened to the bands "back in the day"... I guess it just seems strange to me to wear a t-shirt for a band you haven't heard of/don't even like just to be in style. Even my own fashion victimhood draws the line at that. Its kind of nice that those of us who actually like these groups can get the shirts again though.
Actually, I find I'm looking at a lot of shirts with odd patterns and paintings on them (like this and this). I guess I'm slowly being dragged out of my '90s minimalism - I also find myself using (gasp!) patterns in some of my sewing projects. Who woulda thunk...
Tomorrow is mine and D.'s 4th anniversary!!!! Time does fly when you're having fun.

Happy anniversary to you and D.!
Re: smashing grandpa
I've been eyeing the Adam one as well! You just can't find that in your regular lot of band tshirts anymore....
