think I just felt a gray hair come in..

My doG - Members Only jackets are back in style?? I remember them the first time around - I wanted one so badly! My mom ended up getting me a knock-off at Burlington Coat Factory or some such; she didn't realize how very important that teeny "Members Only" tag was.

Interestingly, I'm not inspired to repeat most 80s fashion as it comes back. Been there, done that. However, retro-punk could be a lot of fun if things get that extreme. I hope and pray to the Fashion Fairies that shoulder pads don't experience a revival - I spent most of junior high and high school snipping those damn things out of EVERYTHING because I already have shoulders like a linebacker...

Oh my doG NOOOOOOO!!! Michael Jackson "Thriller" era returns!

I remember that these were in style for about 2 weeks in 8th grade. All the cool girls had them, and I seem to remember them wearing them maybe twice before I never saw them again.

At the time I envied them (black and shiny!!!) but again, parents did not see the point of buying a 13-year old something that needed dry cleaning [rolls eyes dramatically]. In retrospect it is just as well - in GA weather 100% nylon would have been outstandingly uncomfortable. Perhaps this is why they went out of style so quickly!

Hey - I was only 12 or 13 when Members Only was in style. At that age anything your peers wear is cool. I plead guilty by reason of immaturity :P
