Orbital will be in DC on October 10. Damn.. its a busy week for me but maybe I can do it. I hate it when stuff like this sneaks up on me.

I saw that the other day. Was going to ask if you were going. ;)

Well, Orbital is one of the few electronic groups I'd go out of my way to see. Allegedly they actually play some parts live, changing their tracks from the album versions - at least this is according to friends who have seen them live and reviews that I have read.

I have an XML class the next day and a Miyake sewing class the night before, but I might, just might, be able to swing it. I haven't decided yet.

If you or anyone else you know is interested, let me know. I'm doubt D. will be interested in going and its such a dark area of town I'm not sure I'd want to go alone.

Heh. Chris sez: "Oooh! Orbital! Damn! 9:30." (Not his favorite venue, but the only other place I can envision them playing is at Nation.) I think he and I are a "probably, but not definitely yet".

Much to my surprise, D. was interested and I ordered tix for both of us yesterday. Normally he doesn't like concerts but D. said "well, this is Orbital.

Tell Chris to lemme know if he decides to go.

BTW, where are you taking your XML class? I just finished up one online, and am thinking "Well, that was cool. Now what do I *do* with it?" (It was a beginning class, covering how to write DTDs and valid XML and such, we didn't actually do anything other than display it in a browser.)

I'm taking it at EEI Communications (http://www.eeicommunications.com). I've taken classes with them before and I registered for Intro to XML with the instructor I took Javascript and Cold Fusion with - I know she's good.

I can't remember off the top of my head whether there is an advanced class or not, but you may want to check their website.
