come on Irene

What can be done has been done. If I go silent, you'll know we lost power.

I'm still not sure how much I should worry, if at all. County and state are pushing preparation hard but forecasts are still vague as to when/how severe.

I have banana bread and brownie ingredients. Books are stacked and ready.

Y'all take care. See you on the other side.

I really really hope it goes by more sedately than expected. Hang in there!

Be safe!

What I'm most concerned about is losing power. Having gotten the Pepco call yesterday, I'm fully expecting 2-4 days or more without power. Not huge amounts of difficulty, as we'll have gas, so stove top cooking is fine but just the extra added hassle. And no friends close by, sitting 'round the camp fire, etc. Roughing it gets old fast, when you have to go work at the same time! ;-p

You're not the first person to whom Pepco made a courtesy call in advance - it's good customer service but illustrative that they're not really confident :P

I saw your FB posts re: mad stress baking - hang in there!
