booky books, etc.
Just an FYI - "memory"ed several book-related posts from here, there, and everywhere. Comedy, mystery, and smut featured heavily, get while the gettin's hot.

jlsjlsjls: Local library system has "Night Watch" "at HQ"; I am on the waiting list!
Math news: borrowed school calculator for the semester, can now return the one I bought and get that ~$100 back, at least temporarily.
Weekend news: went to monthly party (rescheduled for this weekend), but didn't actually feel much like playing - I was on the tail end of my antibiotics and residual stomach ickyness (note to self: don't eat yoghurt until AFTER you've finished the meds - just don't) suggested further pain/exertion might not be a great idea :/ On the up side, I saw a friend who I'd not seen since last summer and much good conversation was had all evening :)
Movies: catching up on Netflix and elsewhere: Finally Saw "Curse of the WereRabbit" (this was HYSTERICAL!), SuperSize Me (totally sold on what the narrator was saying, but then, it's easy when you don't like McDonalds), and Kinky Boots ("They should be RED!" Oh yes, and Thelma from "Hex" was in it).
Have to be up extra early tomorrow, so to bed </pepys>
