Growing support for church/state separation in England

Wow. I had kind of ignored the fact that technically Great Britian still has a national church. I'm sort of embarassed, especially given that I've read extensively on the Reformation that established the C. of E.

I also didn't realize that in this day and age the PM is still responsible for deciding who the Archbishop of Canterbury is.

Good for the 48% who want greater church/state separation in the UK! But then, I'm biased ;)
