"smile/acid sign" (!?)
Looking through a site on signs and symbols I found this.
Evidently the innocent smiley face is now equated with acid house/techno, at least according to whoever compiled this online encyclopedia. It must be European - I don't think the smiley=rave meme has really penetrated America.
