Dammit... Costume Con is in AUSTRALIA this year. That pretty much kills my musings about a long weekend of costuming geekery.
I do note that its in Chicago in 2003 and Atlanta in 2004. Maybe then.
Surely there is a venue for people who just like to make weird, extravagant stuff?
