days and nights turned around

One day I'll learn, but not today, apparently.

I do this every weekend. I stay up too late, sleep too late, and get my schedule so turned around that Monday mornings are a challenge, to say the least. I won't feel truly exhausted until tonight or tomorrow, but my eyes already have that droopy, basset hound-like feeling that indicates I need a lot more sleep than I've had. Time to hit the green tea - I've found its got enough caffiene to keep me sharp but not so much that it tears up my stomach the way coffee does.

At least I got lots done this weekend - I steamed all of the carpets and pulled up so much cat hair that I could knit a new cat (if I could knit, that is). Also geekchick managed to pull tickets to an advance screening of "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back", which is almost painfully funny. Indeed, D.'s face was so stretched out from laughing that he thought he'd sprained his chin or something.

Started the Miyake shirt. Though Vogue Patterns describes it as being of average difficulty, it seems much easier except for the neckline, which I spent 2 hours on last night. I love the fabric, I just hope its right for this pattern, I have high hopes for it.
