Yes, I'm back in obsessive sewing mode. Well, I've been in O.S.M. for a few months, but given time constraints and travel I've not actually acted on it. I had a chance to go out and pick up fabric (anniversary gift certificate to G Street, woooo! Thanks D.!) and here's what's in the works:

Shot silk dupionni (drool) for Miyake pattern 2580

Blue green linen for kirtle (underdress for Flemish peasant garb)

White linen for D.'s Tudor mens smock

Thrift store striped ties to finally complete the striped bit on my gabled headdress. I just hope they're wide enough...

And yes, I know that completing all of this will take forever, even in O.S. mode. At the very least I'm well stocked for the next few months and will certainly not be bored (even if I am overbooked.. I still haven't had a chance to play with the Mixman toy yet :/)

Time to start working - the activity that funds my sewing habit....
