Evidently we are now all on "orange alert". Apart from reminding me of a good line from "Red Dwarf" ("Purple alert! This is not a drill! THIS is a drill" [sound of power tools]), it's not clear how this affects me or the rest of the population. Keep eyes open, I suppose, but for what?

I'm also not very pleased to find out that Asscroft has introduced "Patriot Act II", which if passed will deny even more FOIA requests and create a DNA database of "suspected terrorists".

At least The Propoganda Remix Project is finding the humor in this...
