Despite the snow, our parking lot was scraped/salted in a timely manner, and considering that I probably shouldn't be seen as the type who takes off work at the mere sight of a snowflake, I went in at noon.
Only to discover that the statistical analysis that I started running Wednesday is still cranking away. I stuck around 4 hours and was sent home on the very true grounds that I wasn't going to get anything done (hell, it took 5-10 minutes just to lock the computer). This gave me the chance to go get my car emissions test (passed), so I won't have to straggle out to do that before my hair appt. tomorrow.
And I really don't want to straggle out any earlier than I have to. It is COLD - damn cold, real cold (in the teens Farenheit) and has been dropping all evening.
Kisia, the slim velvet haired cat, is sensibly bugging me to go get in bed and be a warm place. She's been curled up on various polarfleece throws all week.
Spice, the plush, snowshoed cat, has been bouncing around the house with D. They LIKE this shit (???)
