7 pm and it has finally stopped snowing. I was unable to get out to the grocery store today, so the cupboards are nearly bare. Still, I think I'll be able to scrounge something up.
Watched one of D.'s Myrna Loy films, "Cheaper by the Dozen". Mostly quite funny, but some of it dragged up bitter memories for me. May rant on that later, maybe not.
I worked on the corset, sewing the channelling for the bones. It is frightfully dull work, straight line after straight line. I am taking a much needed break from the monotony.
Also rationalized effectively - I ordered the over-the-knee stilettos. They just look so damn slick, and I'm sure I can wear them at home with D. if nowhere else.
